Strengthening Women’s Leadership Across the Generations
On the occasion of the 160th Anniversary of the Women’s Rights Convention in Seneca Falls, the 35th anniversary of Roe v. Wade and Title IX, and the 25th Anniversary of NCWO’s founding, this panel will discuss the past, present and future of the women’s movement with emphasis on strengthening the leadership of younger women today and tomorrow.

Throughout the 2008 primary season, women voters have determined the outcome in key races. Changing the face of Congress and the Administration is only the first step. Work must begin now to change national policies so that all women can live in dignity, fully able to care and provide for their families and respected as equal participants in our society.
